Interestingly, superiors also tend to associate physical presence with output – often believing albeit falsely that their full time employees are contributing more to the firm than part timers. While some of these part time disadvantages can spiral into major problems, it will not always be so. It is important to constantly show superiors that you are dedicated to your job. The time you spend at work should be entirely dedicated to work – other commitments must be forgotten for a while. Also, never grumble about how hard it is for you to manage your job and other commitment. Remember it is your problem and your choice not your firm’s.
